S.A.D. is rooted in positivity & inclusivity and is open to everyone, regardless of how they identify.
The S.A.D. Artistic Team wants all Guest Artists to be their authentic selves and to bring their honest work, opinions, thoughts, and suggestions—you do not need to filter yourself unless you choose to do so, and even then, you don't have to. Guest Artists do not pay any fees to participate in S.A.D. performances.

GUEST ARTISTS

Guest Artists have an opportunity to present work of their medium in a mixed-bill setting alongside other artists of various forms. The work shared can be a complete/finished work, a work in progress, or an excerpt of either a finished work of a work in progress. Genres include (but are not limited to):
 - DANCE
- MUSIC
- FILM
- COMEDY
-POETRY/SPOKEN WORD
- CLOWN
- IMPROVISATION
-CIRCUS
- VISUAL/INSTALLATION
- LECTURE/EDUCATION
- ANYTHING THAT CAN BE SHARED WITH AN AUDIENCE!

All works from the Guest Artists should ideally be able to be shared in some form in a festival setting aka a live performance, a film, a sound recording, or an interview and Q&A about your works with photo or film for reference.

If a Guest Artist does not have a specific work to present, they can opt for an interview with the Show Host and a Q&A/Demonstration with the audience.

If you are a visual/installation artist please let us know your vision and we can discuss how to best execute your ideas in this shared space without compromising the vision of your work & the work of the Guest Artists.

For information about the venue including tech specs, dimensions, etc., please fill out the Interest Form and email us so we can start a conversation to address your needs.
